Another favorite ‘West Wing’ moment

With Dr. Laura Schlessinger retiring after a slip (or 11) of the tongue, and religion coming to the fore in the campaign of Sharron Angle for U.S. Senate, I was reminded of this most excellent clip from the most excellent television show The West Wing. President Bartlet raises some very interesting questions, don’t you think?

UPDATE: Ah, yes, Mike, I remember that one well. Here it is, for your enjoyment:

  1. Mike Sullivan says:

Jed Bartlett…you rock! This reminds me of that scene from the first episode, when he walks into the room when Toby and Sam are getting into it with the three religious zealots…another great moment in West Wing history!

  2. Ken says:

Yes. One of the great scenes in West Wing history dealing with issues of faith and politics. There were many of these, including Shibboleth, the Pilot and this one. When the Dr. Jacobs sheepish stands up after being dressed down by President Bartlett.
