Only kidding, people. Actually, it’s a YouTube video that depicts would-be Senator Chad Christensen in his favorite campaign vehicle — the Dump Reid dump truck I told you about recently. The only thing? I’ve been to Harry Reid‘s house in Searchlight, and the house in this video ain’t it. But check it out anyway. Who knew Christensen was a Twisted Sister fan?

For years, Nevada's gambling and mining industries had a simple message about taxes: They wouldn't support new or increased taxes specific to their industries alone, but they would support a tax applied equally to all businesses.

Thanks for sharing, Steve. Funny ad. Funny that it is laughable, but totally lacks substance.
It just fits in with everyone (so far) that campaigns against Senator Reid in that they spend way, way much more time doing cutesy wutesy cool and comedic type pieces of entertainment that only wish to show they are the real deal, and hoping to get and strongly desiring to get Senator Reid voted out by slinging mud at him. The glaring thing about it is they don’t have any substance about what THEY actually stand for…only the Republican Party plan to just GET Senator Reid…um…gone. The only thing we get out of this is taking a stab at wanting to beat Senator Reid and, if you vote for this knucklehead, you take what you get…because he doesn’t state what he stands for in substance…but you NEED to vote this knucklehead in because it will get Senator Reid out. In other words, you have to open the Crackerjack box, have no clue what the prize is…it may be good…hoping it is good, but the chances are greater (and pretty much a lock) it will be total crap.
So, in other words, he is pretty much like all those other candidates that go from the “Chicken Lady” to Tark the Shark to Teabaghead Dangle Angle to Christensen’s Republican Right Wing Nuts Only Dump Truck Service to who knows who else. No difference. It all boils down to looking like Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus versus Senator Reid.
It’s all abracadabra shit: Vote for me…not Senator Reid. Serious slight of hand shit.
Really, really dumb when the Republican Party does nothing but make sure that someone gets voted out, but offer absolutely nothing of value as a viable replacement.
This Christensen guy’s contribution if he gets elected is…hell…to tell the truth…I don’t know. The track record he has to attract votes is anyone’s guess. All I know is that he has a cool dump truck that attracts soccer mom chicks in stationwagons that drive alongside and wave at his ass. A regular guy with a dump truck. Tired gimmick though. It’s been done before (Scott Brown with “I only drive a pickup truck.”).
But then I guess elections are all about posturing…not substance.
I can only speak for myself. Senator Reid has a track record of proving that he can do things. He don’t need to do this dump truck shit. In fact, he does things not only for Nevada, but for the nation.
Good enough for me.
My vote goes to Senator Reid in November 2010. I can’t take a chance voting on any of these other numbskulls.
