In another outrageous slap at Las Vegas-based media, the website The Daily Beast has compiled a list of the left’s top journalist that pointedly does not include me. The continues the national media’s consistent ignoring of this blog, which began back when The Washington Post‘s Chris Cillizza compiled a list of the best state-based bloggers that had one very conspicuous missing entry.

The pro-woman fund is targeting Joe Heck, most particularly for voting against an insurance mandate to cover the HPV vaccine that is linked to cervical cancer. Heck says it did it because it drives up costs, but I have to wonder: Does it drive up costs more than treating an advanced case of cervical cancer? And isn’t an increased cost worth it if it saves lives?
Coburn lied about Ensign affair, too?

Some Democrats run from health care
Democrats who cast “no” votes on health care reform earlier this year are highlighting those votes in their re-election bids, while Politico couldn’t locate a Democrat running on having voted “yes” on the law. Maybe if it had included a public option?
