That’s the finding of a Gallup survey reported on by the website Politico, which found that Nevada’s 1st Congressional District — represented by Congresswoman Shelley Berkley — is the angriest of any in the land. California’s San Francisco peninsula district is the happiest. Duh. They live in California.

The pro-woman fund is targeting Joe Heck, most particularly for voting against an insurance mandate to cover the HPV vaccine that is linked to cervical cancer. Heck says it did it because it drives up costs, but I have to wonder: Does it drive up costs more than treating an advanced case of cervical cancer? And isn’t an increased cost worth it if it saves lives?

Democrats who cast “no” votes on health care reform earlier this year are highlighting those votes in their re-election bids, while Politico couldn’t locate a Democrat running on having voted “yes” on the law. Maybe if it had included a public option?
